Mission Statement:
We believe that the Diocese of Paterson is called by Jesus Christ to be the local expression of the universal Church in faith, worship and service. As such, we are committed to building a community that is truly Catholic, united in our adherence to our faith. We aim to serve the faithful through our parishes, Catholic schools, Catholic Charities agencies and various diocesan ministries, programs and endowments.
The Diocesan Development Office is responsible for securing the necessary funds to assist the Diocese of Paterson in its mission to serve God’s people throughout Morris, Passaic and Sussex Counties.
Additionally, the Diocesan Development Office assists parishes with their fundraising efforts and is available to offer counsel and support to parishes conducting capital campaigns. The Development Office also helps parishes with increased offertory programs as well as with Wills and Estate Planning seminars in order to increase donations to our parishes.
